When open, the hotel will feature 964sqm of meeting and event space.
Dusit Hotels and Resorts will open Dusit Princess Ipoh on 1 October 2026, marking the Thai hospitality group’s third branded property in Malaysia.
The 268-room hotel is located beside the Perak Turf Club, less than five minutes by car from Ipoh city centre. Sultan Azlan Shah Airport is around 10 minutes away, with direct flights from Singapore.
The property offers five room categories, ranging from 25sqm Superior Rooms to 58sqm Family Suites. Family Rooms and Family Suites feature kitchenettes, while other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, Kids Club, prayer room, self-service laundry and a fitness centre.
Dining facilities include The Atrium, an all-day restaurant serving local, regional and international dishes, and a lobby coffee shop offering speciality drinks, pastries and desserts.
For meetings, conferences, weddings and social events, the hotel has three venues with approximately 964sqm of event space. The largest is the 496.8sqm Kinta Ballroom, which accommodates up to 400 guests in theatre-style seating or 300 for round-table events. It is equipped with an LED screen, sound system and adjustable lighting. Smaller events can be held at the 383sqm Kampar Hall and 84sqm Gopeng Room.
The hotel is also positioning itself as a base for exploring Ipoh, with attractions including Ipoh Old Town, Concubine Lane and Kong Heng Square within easy reach. Its Discover the Soul of Ipoh programme offers locally led activities covering heritage, food, nature, wellbeing and family experiences, including heritage walks, food trails, pottery workshops and visits to nearby limestone cave temples and pomelo orchards.
