Accor partners Singapore’s Worldwide Hotels Group to bring Ibis Styles to Johor.
Accor, a global hospitality leader, has announced the signing of ibis Styles Johor Bahru City Centre in Malaysia, in partnership with Worldwide Hotels Group, Singapore's largest homegrown hotel group and a long-standing Accor partner.
Scheduled to open in late 2026, the hotel is located within walking distance of Johor Bahru Sentral and close to the city's cultural attractions and major shopping hubs.
The hotel will offer 243 guestrooms, an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, fitness centre, and meeting and function spaces.

Carolyn Choo, CEO at Worldwide Hotels, commented: “Strategically located within walking distance of the upcoming Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link station at Bukit Chagar, the hotel will offer convenient accommodation for travellers commuting between the two destinations.”
Accor currently operates 28 hotels in Malaysia across seven brands, with a pipeline of 10 properties in development.
