EXO Travel operates primarily across Asia Pacific, with additional offices in Egypt and Morocco.
JTB Corp has agreed to acquire all shares of All Wise Holdings, the parent company of Bangkok-based EXO Travel Group, in a move that significantly expands the Japanese travel giant's destination management and MICE capabilities across Asia.
The acquisition strengthens JTB's footprint in one of the world's fastest-growing MICE and leisure travel regions. It also supports JTB's broader strategy of evolving from a Japan-centric business into a globally interconnected travel network.
Founded in 1993, EXO Travel has built one of Asia's largest destination management networks, with operations spanning destinations across Asia Pacific as well as Egypt and Morocco.
Led by CEO Hamish Keith, the company is known for its strong B2B relationships and expertise in group and corporate travel.
For the meetings and incentives sector, the acquisition adds established on-the-ground capabilities across multiple Asian destinations at a time when demand continues to grow for multi-country programmes and regional incentive travel.
EXO Travel operates dedicated MICE teams throughout Asia, supporting corporate events, incentive programmes and group travel for international buyers.
Following the acquisition, EXO's destination expertise and customer relationships will be integrated into JTB's existing global DMC operations, creating a broader platform for servicing travel partners and corporate clients across multiple markets.
JTB said the deal aligns with its long-term growth strategy, which increasingly treats Asia as an interconnected travel region rather than a collection of individual destination markets. The approach is designed to better support travellers seeking multi-country itineraries while creating stronger travel flows both into and within Asia, including Japan.
The acquisition is the latest move in JTB's international expansion strategy as the group continues to invest in global travel, destination management and business events capabilities.
