Hanoi-based ASIA DMC has officially relaunched its office in
Thailand, marking a significant milestone for the company as it steps up
its expansion plans in the region.
The company had previously operated in Thailand from 2016 to 2019,
and had attributed its physical office closure partly due to the
Covid-19 pandemic – although the DMC continued to manage bookings and
groups from other offices in the Asia Pacific region.
At the launch of the new office, ASIA DMC signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) with Enchantive Asia, who will be managing the
company’s short-haul markets and operations.
Heading the new office will be Thararin Nopkhamsuksawath and Rajesh
Nair, who have been appointed as directors and will be overseeing
operations, contracting, and customer care.
Subhash Chandar, general manager of ASIA DMC, said: “Thailand has
long been a key destination for ASIA DMC, and the resumption of our Thai
office will allow us to serve our clients better, collaborate more
closely with local partners, and showcase the very best that Thailand
has to offer.”
The comeback of the Thailand office will allow ASIA DMC to provide
more personalised support and tailored solutions for events, incentives,
and other destination management programmes.
Outside of Asia, ASIA DMC has shared plans to focus on its markets in
Europe, the United States, and Australia, supported by its sales
offices in Prague, Paris, London, San Francisco, and Kuwait. Future
plans for the company include targeting the high-end Middle Eastern
market.
ASIA DMC’s Thailand office is located at Level 18, Rasa Two, Ratchathewi, Bangkok.
