Gamescom, the only satellite event of the world’s largest video games festival, will return to Singapore from 20 to 22 October.
To be held at Suntec Singapore, the 2022 show will feature a
larger-scaled physical trade zone, conference, and a physical
entertainment zone, all in in-person formats, for the first time.
Gamescom Asia 2022 expects to attract 15,000 visitors and over 100 exhibitors from Singapore and overseas.
Confirmations for physical attendance at Gamescom Asia currently
represent over 19 countries from Asia. The Singapore and German
pavilions have been confirmed, with more applications from Asia ongoing.
The first wave of participating companies include the biggest names in
gaming, such as TikTok, Microsoft Xbox, PlayStation, 9GAG, among others.
“We are delighted to have the commitment of global leading video game
players for the event. This is testament to the increasing interest in
the games market in Southeast Asia as well as in Gamescom Asia," said
Mathias Kuepper, managing director of Koelnmesse Singapore, the
organiser of Gamescom Asia. "We are expecting many more companies to
join us over the coming weeks in this widely anticipated event."
