UK-based exhibition organiser Nineteen Group has announced the expansion of its event portfolio, The Safety & Security Event Series, and The Emergency Services Show, into the APAC region, and located in Singapore.

Singapore-based Conference & Exhibition Management Services (CEMS), meanwhile, has “divested its last and signature event” – the Architecture & Building Services (ABS) – to the Nineteen Group, revealed Edward Liu, managing director of CEMS, in a LinkedIn statement.

Going forward, ABS will be known under a different name and brand; the inaugural Safety & Security Asia (SSA) 2025 will be taking place from 11-13 November 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.

Featuring The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Health & Safety Event, and The Emergency Services Show, SSA aims to become the largest event series set in the Asia Pacific, dedicated to the safety and security of people, places and assets.

CEMS will be acting as consultants to the Nineteen Group for SSA, as well as other MICE companies and projects in Singapore and the Asian region.

Nineteen Group will be opening up a dedicated office in Singapore to support the expansion of Safety & Security Asia into the APAC region.

Speaking following the recent opening of Nineteen Group’s new offices in Singapore, Poh Chi Chuan, executive director, exhibitions & conferences, Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau (SECB), stated: “Singapore's strategic position as a Global-Asia node for MICE and business activities connects MICE organisers and attendees to global and regional leaders, ensuring that every business and leisure interaction paves the way for positive impact and long-lasting connections.”

Tristan Norman, Group Director, expressed a similar confidence in the series' prospects in Singapore, building on the success of the European editions. “Recognising a gap in the market, our event series presents a unique proposition that resonates within the industry. By building on our expertise and insights gained from our European events, we believe that the Asia-Pacific edition will play an equally significant role in driving advancements in our safety and security."
