Organisations looking to showcase health-related climate initiatives on the global stage can now submit proposals to host side events at the COP31 Health Pavilion, with applications closing on 12 September 2026.
Taking place during the COP31 UN Climate Conference from 9 to 20 November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, the Health Pavilion will deliver a two-week programme focused on placing health and equity at the heart of climate negotiations.
Located within the conference's Blue Zone, the pavilion will be accessible exclusively to participants accredited by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Due to limited programme capacity, organisers are encouraging each organisation to submit just one proposal and are prioritising collaborative events that bring together multiple organisations, sectors and perspectives. They noted that some submissions may be merged or refocused, and that not all proposals will be accepted.
The programme is intended to highlight evidence, innovations and practical solutions that demonstrate the health benefits of climate action across regions and communities, while fostering dialogue between the health sector and other stakeholders.
According to the published design principles, preference will be given to events that align with formal COP31 negotiations or climate commitments, engage civil society and diverse stakeholder groups, encourage cross-sector learning and networking, and contribute actionable insights that can accelerate climate and health outcomes.
The call presents an opportunity for associations, academic institutions, non-governmental organisations, governments and other stakeholders working at the intersection of health and climate to secure a place within one of the conference's flagship thematic programmes.
