Vietnam Airlines has announced a significant expansion of its network in Asia with the introduction of new direct flights to Bali and additional services to India. These new routes aim to enhance connectivity between Southeast Asia and key international markets, boosting tourism and trade in the region.

Starting in June 2025, Vietnam Airlines will launch direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Denpasar, Bali, bringing the total weekly flights between Vietnam and Indonesia to 14. These flights will be operated by two-class Airbus A321 aircraft, featuring 16 business class recliners and 168 economy class seats.

In addition to growing its Southeast Asian network, Vietnam Airlines is also increasing its presence in India. The airline will introduce new direct flights from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to Hanoi, starting in May 2025. The four weekly flights from Bengaluru and three from Hyderabad will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

In other related news, Vietnam Airlines has also announced plans to upgrade its fleet deployment in the existing Mumbai–Hanoi route, introducing the wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 aircraft with four weekly flights.
