Cathay Pacific has officially introduced its new Aria Suite, enhancing the air travel experience in Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes on its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The unveiling took place at a ceremony on 16 October at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited’s hangar, attended by distinguished guests, valued customers, and members of the media.

The Aria Suite, designed with customer experience as a priority, features an array of enhancements including spacious seating configurations, increased privacy with innovative cabin dividers, and advanced entertainment systems for a fully immersive inflight experience. With artistry and craftsmanship at its core, the Aria Suite aims to create a journey that prioritises comfort and personal space, providing an intuitive and effortless experience for passengers.

The retrofitted aircraft made its inaugural flight on the Hong Kong-Beijing route on 18 October and will gradually be rolled out on other regional and long-haul routes.

Lavinia Lau, Cathay Group Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, stated, “At Cathay, we believe in moving people forward in life. This purpose goes beyond simply flying customers to their destinations; we are deeply woven into Hong Kong’s identity as a global aviation hub.” Lau further highlighted the airline's commitment to investing over HK$100 billion (US$13 billion) over the next seven years into its fleet, cabin products, lounges, and digital and sustainability initiatives.

The launch of the Aria Suite marks the beginning of a series of upgrades, including new seat products across the airline’s fleet over the next three years, culminating in a new First Class experience on the upcoming 777-9s and a flat-bed Business class on Airbus A330s.
