MOSCOW - Russia's flagship carrier, Aeroflot, has launched ticket sales for their new Moscow to Singapore route, which will begin later this year on Oct 25.
The A350-900 will ply the Moscow-Singapore route five days a week, the fuel-efficient long-haul aircraft offering seats in Business Class, Comfort Class (Aeroflot's premium economy product) and Economy Class.
This latest service to Aeroflot's network strengthens the airline's offering on transit routes from Europe and North America towards Asia, which is a key part of Aeroflot's strategy. Passengers can expect convenient and fast transfers through its hub at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport.
"Aeroflot is constantly expanding its international route network, continually providing new unique opportunities for passengers. The addition of the modern and fuel-efficient long-haul А350-900 to the Aeroflot fleet allows the airline to further strengthen its competitive advantages, among which are high quality service and superior value for money," said Ms Andrey Chikhanchin, Aeroflot deputy CEO for Commerce and Finance.
In addition, from Mar 29, 2020 Aeroflot will shift its Moscow-Tokyo flights from Narita Airport to Haneda Airport (Terminal 3). Time taken to the city via train will be reduced by almost four times, and the journey cut by half if travelling by taxi.
