Qatar Airway' latest Business Class offers sliding privacy panels and 79" full-flat beds.
Qatar Airways has launched its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner passenger aircraft with a new Business Class Suite, complete with 79" flat beds, on a number of key routes to Europe and Asia.
With a passenger capacity of 311 seats (30 in Business and 281 in Economy), the aircraft is being deployed on routes from Doha to Athens, Barcelona, Dammam, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Madrid and Milan.
Arranged in a herringbone pattern, or a 1-2-1 configuration, each suite has direct aisle access with a sliding door to offer greater privacy and comfort. Passengers seated in adjoining centre suites can slide the privacy panels away at the touch of a button to create an enclosed private space.
The Adient Ascent Business Class Suite transforms into a 79” fully-flat bed, and like a business hotel, within reach is a dedicated phone holder equipped with wireless charging technology for both iOS and Android devices.
Business class passengers can choose from a selection of international cuisine, food and beverages, as well as vegan meal options. They will also have access to products and amenities from brands including Narumi, BRIC’S, diptyque, TWG Tea, Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio and The White Company to name a few.
In Economy Class, the Recaro-produced seats are each equipped with a 13-inch Panasonic IFE touch screen in addition to a personal electronic device holder for both mobile and iPad devices. The seat features a rotatable armrest that can be completely stowed away to the backrest, providing a more comfortable and spacious experience.
