Ministry of MICE (MOM) has expanded its regional alliance into Hong Kong through the appointment of Inno Travel Limited as its exclusive local partner, marking the network’s first move beyond Southeast Asia.

Hong Kong-based Inno Travel joined the alliance in April 2026. The partnership adds on-the-ground destination management and event support for meetings, incentive travel, conferences and corporate programmes, complementing MOM’s existing network of DMCs and MICE specialists across Southeast Asia.

MOM said the expansion would allow clients to plan single-destination events in Hong Kong as well as multi-country programmes supported by consistent service standards and local expertise across its partner markets.

The alliance cited Hong Kong’s international connectivity, event infrastructure and position between mainland China and global markets as key factors behind the expansion.

Inno Travel is led by founder and managing director Dr Elaine Shiu, who has more than 15 years of experience in tourism and events. The destination management company handles MICE and corporate travel alongside luxury and educational programmes and government delegations.

Shiu said the partnership would combine Inno Travel’s local knowledge with MOM’s regional network, while helping international clients plan and deliver events in Hong Kong.

MOM described Hong Kong as the starting point for further expansion as it seeks to build a broader alliance of destination specialists across Asia.
