Michael Parsons has rejoined the Accor group as cluster director of commercial strategy & sales for the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa and the newly opened Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the first all-villa property in Singapore.
Michael is no stranger to Accor, having worked with the group for over 20 years in various roles across the APAC region, including vice president of marketing & strategic Relationships, Asia Pacific. In his new role, Michael will oversee the sales, events, revenue management and reservation teams across both properties. His focus will be on driving innovative strategies and building strategic relationships to foster valuable partnerships and support long-term business success.
Prior to his appointment at Sofitel and Raffles Sentosa, Michael served as senior vice president for Travel & Leisure Co., Asia Pacific, during which he led a team of more than 150 marketing, partnership and communication executives across the region. He also previously worked at Mastercard Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for market development leading the Co-Brand card strategy across the region, while also being the principal for strategy, account management and business development for the hotel, airline and entertainment verticals.
