St. Regis Jakarta: elevating elegant MICE events

Nestled in the heart of Jakarta's Golden Triangle, The St. Regis Jakarta which opened in December 2022, has 254 rooms and 28 suites designed in elegant colonial and Indonesian batik designs, combining tradition with contemporary elegance. The hotel’s 2,500 sqm of MICE facilities offer a diverse selection of adaptable event rooms and spaces.

As the main hub for MICE activities in Indonesia, Jakarta is seeing a growing demand for unique and flexible spaces. Venues are adapting to cater to various event sizes and formats. Juliet Mangowal, director of business development, said: “The availability of multifunctional spaces that can be easily customised to suit different purposes has become a key factor in the decision-making process for event planners.

“Additionally, the MICE industry in Jakarta is witnessing a surge in experiential events. Meeting facilities

On the second floor, Astor Ballroom (1,396 sqm) offers natural daylight for up to 1,500 for cocktails and 957 for banquets. On the same level, there are seven meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a pre-function area, with space ranging from 23-35 sqm, hosting up to 30 pax, theatre-style.

One floor above the lobby, Caroline Astor Ballroom (770 sqm) seats 660 theatre-style, and 528 for banquets. Newport 1, 2 and 3 (63-133 sqm) seat between 43-91 pax for banquets

The St. Regis Jakarta is amplifying its sophistication and functionality, alongside its architectural grandeur and meticulous attention to detail, and wants to market each space as “a canvas for bespoke events”.

A full day, eight-hour meeting package at Astor Ballroom costs 1,400,000 rupiah (US$89.50) per person. Perks include two coffee breaks, private lunch/dinner buffet for 30 pax (minimum) or at Bel-etage, LED Screen, LCD projector with scroll down screen, and standard sound system with six wireless microphones

A five-hour half day meeting deal at Beechwood, Ferncliff and Rhinebeck rooms costs 1,200,000 rupiah per pax, and includes one coffee break, a 55” TV, and standard sound system with 2 wireless microphones.
