The Four Points by Sheraton Johor Bahru is set to open next year, following the refurbishment and rebranding of the AmanSari Residence Resort in Bandar Seri Alam.
The 150-room hotel redevelopment, expected to open in the first quarter of 2026, follows a signed agreement between SKS Group, a company operating in property development and hospitality and Marriott International. The venture marks Marriott’s growing presence in Malaysia, joining three other properties in the destination.
Four Points by Sheraton Johor Bahru will have 150 rooms, including 70 Twin Rooms, 70 King Rooms and 10 Three-Bedroom Duplexes, while facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant with 98 indoor seats and an alfresco terrace, and a 45-seat lobby bar and lounge.
For meetings and events, the hotel will feature 1,770 sqm of function space, including a 1,130 sqm divisible Grand Ballroom, a 310 sqm Junior Ballroom, five meeting rooms, and a 255 sqm pre-function area. Food and beverage options include live food stations, an all-day dining concept and an alfresco terrace.
