Hotel next to the Sentosa Cove marina rolls out private group yacht experience.
W Singapore – Sentosa Cove has completed a multi-phase transformation of the property, culminating in new corporate-friendly experiences and upgraded event facilities.
Hardware transformation completed last month with the final guestrooms refurbished.
Also completing the refresh, the hotel introduced The Afterglow Voyage, a luxury catamaran experience for private groups and milestone events.
The St Vincent catamaran – with capacity for up to 45 guests – sails from Sentosa Cove into open waters, with views of the Marina Bay skyline and surrounding islands. The experience includes curated dining and live DJ entertainment, with charters starting from S$3,988 (US$3,098) for 12 guests.
The cruise is part of the hotel’s expanded experientce programming. Activities range from eco-conscious workshops for upcycled crafts, mini-gardening, and DIY coffee scrubs; to sports including soft archery and pétanque; and music-led programming such as DJ masterclasses and sunset sessions at WET Deck.
On the meetings front, the hotel has been progressively unveiling venue enhancements including new flooring aligned with the property’s marine-inspired design, high ceilings, natural daylight and refreshed interiors.
The pillarless ballroom, The Great Room, now features a configurable 5 x 14-metre LED screen, supported by upgraded AV systems for large-scale presentations and immersive productions.
The transformation also extends across guestrooms, dining venues and wellness facilities, with redesigned interiors drawing on Sentosa’s tropical setting alongside Singapore’s urban energy. Updates include revamped rooms and suites, refreshed dining concepts and a reimagined AWAY Spa with expanded wellness programming.
The overhaul was carried out in phases in collaboration with design firm Hachem, marking one of the most extensive refreshes of the property since its opening.
