PCMA unveils 2026–2027 APAC Advisory Board

PCMA has announced its 2026–2027 APAC Advisory Board, appointing 15 business events leaders who will shape the association's strategic direction and regional initiatives.

The board will support PCMA's work across the region by providing guidance on education, thought leadership and community engagement, with a focus on ensuring programmes remain relevant to the region's evolving business events landscape.

Among those beginning a new two-year term through 2028 are Anna Patterson, founder and managing director of Sight, and Mayumi Ninomiya, general manager of Jack Morton Japan.

Returning for extended two-year terms are Anne Jamieson, CEO of Saxton; Kerry Lau, head of marketing, ASEAN, Oracle; Ronald Lim, co-founder and event producer of Think Tank Productions; Sakurako Ogawara, director of conferences at Gartner; Shelley Ryan, events and incentives manager at FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia; Stuart Frank, senior director of strategic events at Salesforce; and Tamsyn Barker, managing director, APAC, at FIRST agency.

Serving the final year of their two-year terms are Lisa Hopkins, CEO of BEIA; Mala Dorasamy, CEO of Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre; Philip Goh, head of APAC event marketing at Intuitive; and Will Kataria, country head and senior director at Cvent.

Meanwhile, Genevieve Lim, AVP of MICE and sales at Marina Bay Sands, and Melissa Holdsworth, CEO of AusIMM, will serve the final year of their extended terms.

Commenting on the appointments, Florence Chua, managing director of PCMA APAC, described the leaders as “kindred souls” who share a commitment to elevating the industry and profession.

“Their collective expertise and values ensure we remain relevant to local market needs while advancing our global mission. We are grateful for their dedication and the positive impact they have on the business events industry,” Chua said.
