A stunning 21 x 4.3-metre panoramic LED wall that can be used in its full glory for immersive sweeping visuals, or be split into three simultaneous displays to create high-octane, dynamic experiences. And for maximum versality, the ballroom offers organisers another four projector screens, ensuring their every unique event need is taken care of. Paired with dynamic ambient lighting that shifts seamlessly between daylight, warm and cool tones, the ballroom transforms to match any mood or brand identity. 

Six ceiling rigging points offer ultimate staging flexibility, making the venue equally suited to corporate conventions, product reveals, award ceremonies, fashion shows, or even esports tournaments. Fully retractable walls allow the room to reconfigure the space, from a 460-guest banquet to an intimate boardroom-style gatherings.

Thinking out of the ‘box’

The sky’s the limit when it comes to reimagining creative event possibilities within the ballroom walls. Take “Fried Rice Paradise – The Makan Party”, an immersive dinner theatre production staged at Paradox Singapore in collaboration with the Singapore Repertory Theatre. Blending local storytelling and culinary artistry, guests are invited to ‘taste the tale’ as the story unfolds on multiple stages, tucking into a custom four-course menu and themed drinks specially crafted to match the show’s plot. 

The show featured a main stage in the centre of the ballroom, complemented by two satellite kitchen stages, as performers moved throughout the entire ballroom to create a truly interactive experience with the audience. The ballroom’s large LED screens were also used to engage viewers to vote for their favourite chef of the night, culminating in an exciting finale.

With its expansive space, the hotel has hosted other MICE groups and banquets in unusual formats. One group requested for a Harry Potter-inspired dinner, which saw the ballroom transform into a Hogwarts-style dining hall, resplendent with long tables that created a magnificent gathering for its top minds.

Geared for convenience and sustainability

While the ballroom is decked for the big moments, Paradox Singapore’s ten upgraded meeting rooms provide the perfect breakout and collaboration spaces, ideal for strategy sessions, workshops or high-impact presentations. All located on the lobby level for easy access, these versatile rooms are fitted with high-lumen projection systems and intuitive IdeaHub smart boards, an all-in-one interactive collaboration device integrating whiteboarding, wireless content sharing, video conferencing, and projection.

The hotel is also committed to responsible environmental stewardship, evident in its BCA Green Mark GoldPlus certification and investments in energy-efficient equipment. Day-to-day operations prioritise green practices – from offering guests the option to refresh linens every three days, to providing filtered water systems and in-room recycling bins. Single-use plastics and waste are minimised through refillable dispensers and paperless communications, while an ecoDigester processes food waste onsite, reducing landfill contributions and carbon emissions.

A multifaceted experience

The hotel’s prime riverside location offers built-in opportunities for delegates to easily explore Chinatown’s sights and shops, admire architectural gems in the Civic District, or hop on a traditional bumboat ride along the Singapore River. For more after-hours networking, the nearby riverside bars, restaurants and cafes at Robertson Quay, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay lend an atmospheric vibe amidst an enthralling juxtaposition of Singapore’s old and new.

Just a 3-minute walk away, the hotel is connected to Clarke Quay MRT station via sheltered walkway, making it readily accessible to the Central Business District, Marina Bay Sands and other attractions around the island.

For a local twist, planners can give guests a taste of Singapore’s multicultural essence, incorporating heritage-themed coffee breaks with treats like kueh pie tee and nyonya kueh, or host a cocktail soirée featuring Singapore Slings and local bites at Crossroads Bar. Ideal for gala dinners and cultural dining experiences, Ellenborough Market Café is famed for Peranakan specialties including ayam buah keluak, nyonya chap chye, and durian pengat – made with a 28-year-old time-honoured recipe that has left many guests coming back for more.
