One venue, 200,000 gamers, and 294 exhibitors – QSNCC proves it’s built for every level of play at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show.

The US$200 billion gaming industry has become an integral part of Asia’s cultural landscape. Modern gaming conventions now blend cutting-edge technology, immersive storytelling and community-building elements – and expectations run high.

The inaugural Gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show made its Thailand debut from 16-19 October 2025, drawing 206,159 attendees from 95 countries. For the first time, Southeast Asia’s largest gaming festival united business and entertainment zones, spanning esports tournaments, indie game showcases, cosplay events, investor pitch competitions, and B2B networking.

But where in Bangkok can you host such a massive crowd under one roof – and still deliver a seamless, action-packed experience?

Enter the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). With 78,500 sqm of flexible event space, including eight event halls, four plenary halls, four ballrooms and 50 meeting rooms, the venue rose to the challenge with ease. Its central location and direct MRT connectivity ensure international attendees could move conveniently between meetings, hotels, and the expo, while local gamers and fans could easily visit the venue by car or public transport.

“QSNCC met these criteria perfectly,” said Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit and Winradit Kolasastraseni, president of Digital Media at True Digital Group, in a joint statement. “Major gaming companies from countries such as China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore were highly impressed by the event at QSNCC, thanks to its spacious venue, world-class facilities, and central Bangkok location.”

Co-op mode: Blending business and play

Part convention, part expo, part festival – today’s gaming events demand flexibility. QSNCC’s integrated, multi-level design makes it easy to host these worlds side by side across two floors spanning 20,000 sqm of space.

The Business Zone attracted 5,590 industry visitors from 81 countries, featuring 294 exhibitors and country pavilions. Opening address, panel discussions, and pitch sessions unfolded seamlessly in the Plenary Hall, a versatile 5,000-sqm space where Dead Space creator Glen Schofield took to the stage inspiring keynote urging developers to take creative risks.

Meanwhile, the Entertainment Zone transformed Exhibition Halls 2–4 into a gamer’s paradise. Esports tournaments, cosplay contests, and live streams came to life through QSNCC’s advanced AV systems, high-speed fibre connectivity, and dynamic lighting setups that kept audiences engaged.

Epic builds: Immersive worlds come to life

With its high ceilings and robust loading capabilities, QSNCC enabled the creation of spectacular, large-scale booths by leading gaming companies PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and Bandai Namco Entertainment – each featuring playable demos, immersive setups, and interactive display.

The newly launched Thai Pavilion spotlighted homegrown innovation, showcasing 20 finalists from the Thailand Game Talent Showcase 2025, while the Indie Area gave independent developers and studios the visibility they deserved – a reflection of QSNCC’s ability to host multi-format exhibitions that champion both global and local talent.

An event of this scale thrives on more than what happens inside the halls. QSNCC’s food & retail zone offers over 11,000 sqm of dining, cafés, and lifestyle outlets, giving visitors places to recharge between sessions – from grab-and-go bites to relaxed meetups.

The final level: Execution, expertise and experience

With over 30 years of event experience and more than 20,000 successful MICE events under its belt, QSNCC remains a cornerstone of Thailand’s international events scene. The successful debut of Gamescom Asia 2025 in Bangkok underscores not just Thailand’s rising ambitions as a gaming powerhouse, but also QSNCC’s ability to deliver large-scale, high-energy events.

At the closing ceremony, Thailand’s Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun and Koelnmesse Managing Director and VP for Asia Pacific Mathias Kuepper confirmed that next year’s event would return to Bangkok from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at QSNCC, cementing confidence in the venue’s capabilities.

“This event reinforces our role as an international event platform – a true gateway to the ‘World of Gaming’ that brings together every dimension of the gaming universe: business, eSports, content, and community,” said Surapol Utintu, CEO of QSNCC.
