Steering teams to excellence
When 190 senior women leaders from global companies arrived in Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort for the EVE Program Asia Pacific 2025, the event’s scale was as impressive as its purpose. Over three days, the team orchestrated thematic experiences in a flawless blend of business and relaxation to fulfil the client’s goals of delivering support, networking, and inspiration to delegates.
An open-air dinner at the Poolside Lawn — just one of many experiences planners can expect from the events team at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort.“Bringing an event to life required unified collaboration across every department – sales, culinary, recreation, operations, and events – under one vision.” Led by director of operations Utsah Sehgal over the course of a year, the teamwork was seamless from early strategy call to the final dinner.
Delegates were treated to thoughtfully curated experiences, including themed coffee breaks, a Latin American cocktail dinner, and wellness-infused breakout sessions featuring activities like Thai boxing.
“Exceptional events do not simply happen. Behind the scenes, extensive and intricate coordination is needed to bring together staff from different departments – united by a shared passion for client satisfaction,” says Utsah.

The groom, a professional baker, also wanted to add his own touch to the menu and surprise his bride by baking four types of bread on his own.
