MGM China Holdings has rolled out a refresh of its high-yield offerings at MGM Cotai, unveiling 63 new suites alongside a revamped premium gaming area.

“The Macao market is a premium-driven one. It is not simply about supply. It is not a purely quantity play. It is about quality – understanding and serving the target guest,” said Kenneth Feng, CEO, MGM China, during a 1Q earnings call.

The newly launched suites are pitched as a distinctive product within Greater China, part of a broader push to address what parent company MGM Resorts International CEO William Joseph Hornbuckle describes as being “under suited” in Macao.

Executives signalled that this is part of a sustained capital cycle rather than a one-off upgrade. Additional suite development is already in the pipeline at MGM Macau, where about 100 new suites are in the design stage, alongside incremental refinements to gaming and F&B offerings.
