Vietnam’s LuxGroup is launching Amiral Cruises for Presidents, a new luxury river–sea concept with a focus on high-level hosting.
The “For Presidents” concept emphasises service standards, discretion and protocol readiness for diplomatic, business and cultural hosting, according to a LuxGroup statement.
The launch is part of a US$38 million fleet strategy that will see 10 vessels deployed along the Saigon River and southern coastline.
The cruise will be operated on a boutique scale – for 99 to 299 guests – inspired by the historic Amiral Latouche-Tréville and the 1911 voyage of Hồ Chí Minh.
Programmes include curated expeditions under the Amiral Explorers banner; urban yacht-style day cruises, sunset and dining experiences; and cultural sailings for high-level hostings.
Itineraries are expected to be narrative-driven, with routes incorporating sites such as the Cần Giờ Biosphere Reserve and other culturally significant locations.
The debut on 5 June 2026 will coincide with the 115th anniversary of the 1911 voyage of Nguyễn Tất Thành from Nhà Rồng Wharf.
Not only does the homage anchor the experience in national history, LuxGroup hopes that it will position the product for modern corporate and diplomatic use.
