Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is taking a soft and experiential approach at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific (TMS APAC) 2026, inviting planners into its living-room-inspired booth designed as a social hub for conversations and ideas.
Returning for its third year, the Sands booth trades a traditional showcase for a social hub, where canapés inspired by local flavours and live mixology set the tone. The aim: draw attendees in with hospitality, then spotlight how curated, human-centric experiences can elevate business events.
This shift reflects a broader evolution of expectations in the MICE world. Alongside meetings, there is growing demand for balance, cultural depth and moments of pause.
Marina Bay Sands has hence responded with fresh meeting packages that include guided mental wellness exercises, and access to THRIVE, its in-house wellness initiative.
Event value-adds offered as part of THRIVE range from sound meditation and movement sessions to workshops focused on focus and self-regulation – elements that can be layered into business events.
Beyond the venue, the IR is also highlighting add-ons such as the Marina Bay Civic Immersion Trail, a guided walking experience through key landmarks in the Marina Bay precinct. Tailored for C-Suite delegates, the programme blends Singapore’s history with leadership insights, offering a more purposeful way to experience the destination.
Marina Bay Sands’ regional teams from Australia and China will also be on-site. This follows the IR’s recent expansion of the Chengdu and Dubai offices to cater to luxury buyers.
