Conrad Bali has introduced an enhanced meetings and incentives proposition built around the Conrad 1/3/5 experiential framework, alongside the Meet With Purpose initiative.

The update reflects a broader shift in meetings design towards shorter, more flexible formats and integrated wellbeing and destination-led experiences.

The Conrad 1/3/5 concept introduces a marketing structure where delegate experiences are organised into one-, three- and five-hour modules, allowing planners to incorporate short wellness breaks, mid-length cultural activities or extended off-site programmes within meeting itineraries.

One-hour sessions are designed as interludes between meetings, including wellness and cultural activities such as the Sway Sleep Journey, a “cocooning” aerial hammock ritual, sound therapy and cultural workshops such as Penjor Pancasila crafting.

Three-hour formats focus on group engagement through curated dining and cultural showcases, from Suku Theme Nights featuring Balinese barbecue to fire dance performances and art therapy sessions.

Five-hour programmes extend into off-site experiences, including foraging and forest bathing in Bedugul's rainforest landscapes and scenic cooking experiences at Astungkara Way Regenerative Farm.

Besides meeting design, Conrad Bali is also applying the 1/3/5 approach to its culinary offerings. On its luncheon menus, each course highlights dishes prepared through one-hour, three-hour, or five-hour cooking techniques – which the property says celebrates “patience, tradition, and the artistry behind every flavor”.

Conrad Bali is also reimagining coffee breaks using a Journey Through Bali concept. At the resort, delegates can experience Bali's regions through curated tasting stations that showcase heritage recipes and local ingredients from the north, central, and southern parts of Bali. Each station tells the story of a different region, from Singaraja's comforting home-style delicacies to the agricultural richness of Tabanan and the vibrant coastal flavors of Badung.

Alongside the new format, Hilton’s Meet With Purpose initiative at Conrad Bali includes options for carbon-neutral meetings through emissions offsetting, as well as expanded low-waste practices such as plastic-free meeting setups and increased use of locally sourced ingredients.

Conrad 1/3/5 adds to ongoing efforts to market CSR to planners through its local NGO partnerships for mangrove restoration, baby coral planting, nutritional meal programmes for local villages or food donation.

The new combined proposition comes as meeting planners place greater emphasis on flexibility, sustainability and attendee engagement, with resorts increasingly integrating destination experiences directly into event design.
