A new icon, rising more than 250m high now dominates Dubai's skyline: Ain Dubai.
The new structure is nearly 100m taller than the previous record owner — the High Roller, standing 168m tall along the Las Vegas Strip.
Set upon Bluewaters Island, the new title holder of the world's largest and tallest observation wheel offers three main experiences: observation cabins, social cabins and private cabins.
Each rotation takes about 38 minutes, and the 48 indoor cabins could be booked as a simple ride taking in 360-degree views of Dubai, or myriad options including dining in the sky, celebratory packages, nightlife and party occasions, as well as bespoke corporate and event offerings.
Ahead of the 21 October launch, general manager Ronald Drake hinted that as "the ultimate celebration destination, it [is] only fitting that we celebrate the opening in style. More exciting details of what to expect from our grand opening will be revealed soon".
Mohamed Sharaf, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment added that the attraction falls in line with the destination's drive to enhance its competitiveness as a key international travel destination.
