Vietnam’s World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) and COEX in Seoul, South Korea have signed an MoU aimed at boosting manufacturing industry innovation programmes in Vietnam.

The strategic partnership will see the two venues cooperating to host a smart factory and logistics automation exhibition in the future, with the aim of developing and expanding related industry exchange programmes between Vietnam and Korea, including conferences, trade promotion events, and seminars.

Furthermore, the two parties have agreed to cooperate to open the Automation World Vietnam event at the WTC BNDC in September next year.

The collaboration will help strengthen the technological capabilities of the Vietnamese manufacturing industry and enhance its competitiveness on a global stage. WTC BDNC says it reaffirms its commitment to working with international partners to drive innovation and foster growth in Vietnam's manufacturing industry.

The partnership MoU was signed at the Smart Factory + Automation World 2023 event, Asia's representative smart factory and industrial automation fair, which was held earlier this month at COEX. This year’s edition was the largest in the event’s history, featuring 500 exhibitors and 2,000 booths.
