Business event planners and attendees will soon be able to say “Mabuhay!” to the Philippines’ newest MICE campaign, which will be launched in the second half of this year.

To date, the TPB's marketing campaign has revolved around the broad theme of "Love the Philippines", which has in place since June 2023. While catchy, the TPB finds it somewhat generic and therefore is preparing to launch a new campaign tailored specifically to the MICE industry and the ASEAN region.

“MICE is one of the priorities of our president Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr, and following the direction of our tourism secretary Christina Garcia Frasco – she really wanted to work on strengthening our MICE sector in the Philippines,” said Maria Margarita M. Nograles, COO of TPB, speaking to M&C Asia at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific.

“With that, we are looking to work very closely with all our suppliers, private sector and all groups that look to bring more business to the companies and industry.”

The Philippines pavilion was represented by six exhibitors at The Meetings Show APAC 2024.
