Gold Coast rolls out new promotional videos

Taking the viewer into the mind of a meeting planner, the videos show the opportunities the Gold Coast has to offer.

Experience Gold Coast has launched the next round of videos from its business events campaign; Aimed at international associations and incentive travel groups, the videos seek to bring these groups to the city and build upon the visitor economy.

Titled “If it can be imaged, it can happen on the Gold Coast”, the videos take the viewer into the imagination of a meeting planner and showcase an extensive range of infrastructure and experiences, framed by Gold Coast’s spectacular coastline and tropical rainforest.

Brooke Campbell, director of business events at Experience Gold Coast, said the assets are designed to appeal specifically to international associations and incentive travel group organisers who are looking to plan their next event.

“We can support association conferences by tapping into the strength of our developed key sectors such as medicine, health, education, screen and sport for partnerships, opportunities and insights,” she said.

“Whether you’re an incentive group looking to create memories that last a lifetime, or an association wanting to inspire ideas, share the latest research and do business – if it can be imagined, it can happen on the Gold Coast.”

This project is supported by Tourism Australia’s Business Events Advance Program designed to increase the number and value of international business events for Australia.

The videos will be shown at the upcoming IMEX Frankfurt, where the Gold Coast will be exhibiting alongside 20 Australian partners as part of Business Event Australia’s stand.
