Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is gearing up for one of the city’s
busiest events seasons, with a strong Q4 line-up featuring over 100
business, major conferences and congresses, spanning sectors including
technology, sustainability, food and beverage, healthcare and green
economy, among others.
Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, executive VP at DWTC, said: “DWTC plays a
crucial role in furthering the emirate’s position as the global
Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) capital. We
are witnessing substantial growth of flagship events like GITEX Global,
ArabLab+, Big 5 Global, World Radiocommunication Conference among others
and are equally excited to host new events at the venue…We are ready
for yet another impactful season, marking the culmination of a
remarkable 2023, even as we look forward to an action-packed 2024.”
Notable events in September include Adhesives Sealants, and Bonding
Expo ME (5-7 September); The Annual Dermatology Conference and
Exhibition MEIDAM (22-24 September); and ArabLab (19-21 September),
which attracted 10,000 delegates and 850 exhibitors over three days.
In October, upcoming events include Automechanika Dubai (2-4
October); Agra Middle East (9-10 October); and the DWTC-owned flagship
tech showcase GITEX Global (16-20 October).
Other significant events for later this year include Dubai Otology
Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery (31 October-2 November); The World
Radiocommunication Conference (6 November-19 December); The Big 5 Global
(4-7 December), a construction show spanning over four decades; and
ArabPlast (13-15 December), a premium international trade show for the
plastics, petrochemicals, packaging and rubber industries.
