With the launch of a new MICE promotion strategy for 2026, Danang is targeting 93,000 MICE visitors, up 12% compared to 2025.
Under the Da Nang MICE Tourism Promotion Programme 2026, the city will relax eligibility criteria for support particularly for overseas groups. The minimum domestic group size is 70 participants, and international groups need only to bring 30 or more participants to qualify.
In addition, the central Vietnam city is rolling out more incentives for returning MICE groups, including preferential pricing and vouchers for new tourism products and services.
On the supplier side, Danang is stepping up promotion of select MICE companies. For the first time, it will recognise suppliers by featuring their corporate names and logos on the city’s MICE tourism information platform, giving them free placement in publications for six to twelve months, and preferential fees for participation in promotional events both domestically and internationally.
Meanwhile, joint efforts are underway to implement MICE service quality standards and frameworks for event companies.
The city is also supporting the development of MICE offerings such as conferences combined with resort stays, teambuilding programmes, cultural and culinary experiences, and heritage tours across central Vietnam.
