BINH DUONG - Vietnam's southern province of Binh Duong will soon have a new World Trade Centre after a launch ceremony for the development of the complex was held last month.
To be built by Becamex IDC, the World Trade Centre Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) will be a complex of facilities to promote international trade.
It is one of the key projects in the next phase of developing Binh Duong as a smart city, reported Vietnam newspaper Nhan Dan.
The centre will be a 70,000sqm multi-purpose complex offering a wide range of services and facilities, with the central commercial area featuring a four-storey building with a floor area of 45,000sqm. It includes facilities such as a convention hall, movie theatres, a concert hall, and a food court.
Furthermore, it has a multi-use sports centre that can accommodate 4,000 spectators, and will be suitable for sports as well as entertainment, concerts and cultural events.
Developers said there will also be indoor and outdoor exhibition centres catering to the increasing demand from the country's MICE industry.
