The Meetings Show Asia Pacific (TMS APAC) 2026 has firmly established itself beyond a standalone event, cementing its position as a leading platform for the region’s business events community.

Held alongside the second edition ofBusiness Travel Show Asia Pacific (BTS APAC) and the inaugural Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) Luxury Asia Pacific, this three-in-one format this year was living proof for the strength of B2B sentiment, innovation and resilience in the region.

Both TMS APAC and BTS APAC recorded double-digit buyer growth, underscoring strong demand for curated, in-person B2B engagement across sectors.

At its core, TMS APAC continues to scale with purpose. The 2026 edition welcomed 1,913 meetings and travel professionals, including more than 600 buyers from over 80 countries – a 10% increase year on year. This growth reflects not just expanding attendance, but deeper regional and international participation, reinforcing the show’s role as a strategic gateway into Asia Pacific’s MICE landscape.

TMS APAC and BTS APAC will return to Singapore on 21–22 April 2027.

A MICE show that grows with the community

That growth is translating into tangible business value. The show floor brought together a diverse mix of destinations, hotel groups, convention bureaux and solution providers, creating an environment where conversations moved quickly from introductions to fully realised event concepts. The curated buyer programme remained a key driver, enabling high-quality meetings and accelerating deal-making in a time-efficient format.

Reinforcing the strength of the show as the foremost gathering for the industry are exhibitors to the show, including Korea Tourism Organization, Hilton, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Budapest Convention Bureau – HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, Destination Vancouver, Spain Tourism Board, Aichi Sky Expo, AYANA Resort Bali, Banyan Group, and Bintan Resorts.

Driving innovation, collaboration and resilience

Across both events, a common thread emerges: a strong emphasis on collaboration as the foundation for progress. Whether in meetings and events or managed travel, buyers and suppliers are increasingly co-creating solutions – balancing cost, control and experience while navigating a complex global environment. The co-location of TMS APAC and BTS APAC amplifies these synergies, allowing cross-sector conversations to flourish and unlocking new opportunities at the intersection of MICE and corporate travel.

Innovation also remains front and centre, though approached with a practical, outcomes-driven lens. At BTS APAC, the Innovation Faceoff spotlighted emerging solutions reshaping corporate travel, with AI-powered platform Nowadays taking top honours – signalling how technology is being harnessed to streamline meetings and enhance programme efficiency.

At TMS APAC, innovation is equally embedded in its education programme. Across the MICE Studios sessions, industry leaders tackled themes such as AI integration, sustainability, evolving attendee expectations and the future of event design. The discussions reflected a sector that is not only adapting to change, but actively redefining how business events deliver value – through more immersive, data-driven and human-centric experiences.

Completing the trio, GTM Luxury Asia Pacific made a strong debut as an invitation-only event connecting high-value travel advisors with global suppliers. With demand from advisors exceeding available capacity, the show underscored Asia Pacific’s growing importance as a luxury travel powerhouse and reinforced the value of curated, high-touch networking formats.
