Wagyu Comes to Corporate Haunt

Nothing fluffs up corporate entertaining like a decadent American Wagyu steak. That's possibly why Morton's The Steakhouse, located in Mandarin Oriental hotel, is offering it as one of six tantalising dishes on its seasonal menu (available till end-June).

Sourced from award-winning American Wagyu beef producer Snake River Farms, the rich and buttery 8oz American Wagyu New York Strip (S$95; US$70) is the star attraction. Fans of Morton's can also look forward to the return of the popular 14ozBone-in Filet Mignon (S$122; US$90).

For non-meat-eaters, opt for the Olive Crusted Alaska Halibut (S$80; US$60) - a Mediterranean-inspired dish topped with a Kalamata olive crust and homemade garlic Beurre Blanc Sauce.

Other highlights include the Hearts of Palm Salad (S$24; US$18) that's freshly tossed with baby arugula and sliced mango in a homemade honey poppy-seed dressing; as well as the restaurant's newest appetiser, Grilled Oysters with Garlic Herb Butter (S$49 or US$36).

Rounding off the toothsome selection is the Blueberry White Chocolate Bread Pudding (S$35; US$26), which is drizzled with bourbon white chocolate ganache and served with a generous scoop of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice-cream.

Corporate entertaining can be held at Morton's in one of three private dining rooms, or in the main dining area, which is available for exclusive hire. The restaurant also offers full-service catering with its signature and banquet menus, as well as an award-winning wine list showcasing over 200 international labels.

Valet parking is available in the hotel, and public car parking in the nearby Marina Square shopping centre.
