The IMEX Group has appointed industry veteran Tahira Endean as head of programme, tasked with remodelling the professional learning content at its two global trade shows IMEX Frankfurt and IMEX America.

The former head of events at the Society of Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), Vancouver-based Endean's new role marks a milestone in IMEX's three-year education redesigning strategy.

Endean’s addition to the team will build on the legacy of knowledge and events director Dale Hudson who first developed IMEX's education programme in 2005. She will work with both the IMEX marcomms and knowledge and education teams to design learning programmes that enrich the show’s value proposition and deliver measurable business benefits.

“We’re focused on designing learning with buyer requirements in mind first and foremost as we want them to have meetings that are enhanced by education at the show. Our combined aim is for attendees to leave each session with tangible takeaways that also support their meetings onsite," said Endean.

Changes to education programming are already in place for IMEX America which opens with Smart Monday, 10 October in Las Vegas. IMEX has announced an education theme for the 11th edition of the show - ‘Pathways to Clarity,' with learning tracks have been consolidated and redesigned.
