The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has appointed Annette Gregg, CMM, as its new CEO. She takes over leadership of the organisation and its foundation from Rebecca Wright, interim executive director, on 14 November.

Gregg most recently served as chief revenue officer of Meeting Professionals International. She has a wide range of experience in the meetings industry, from corporate end user to destination marketing organisations.

"I'm grateful for a career that has allowed me to contribute to a variety of aspects of the business events industry, covering both the public and private sectors, corporations and associations, and agencies and end users,"said Gregg.

"I look forward to working closely with SITE's boards, its global committees and chapters, and our more than 2,000 global members to make the business case for incentive travel, and spread the story of travel as transformation."

In announcing Gregg's appointment, Kevin Edmunds, vice president, meeting and incentive sales, AIC Hotel Group, and president of SITE, praised her for her "depth of her experience, the strength of her relationships and the clarity of her vision will help SITE navigate the road ahead, and realise its vision to build and bridge cultures through the transformative power of incentive travel and motivational experiences."
