Chris Peak joins BEIA from The Conference Company.
Chris Peak has joined Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) as
events manager to oversee the association's key events including the
annual MEETINGS exhibition.
He replaces Jen Henshaw, who departs BEIA after delivering two successful MEETINGS events in 2021 and 2022.
Peak was most recently with The Conference Company in Auckland,
managing the delivery of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events across
New Zealand and Australia for the professional conference organiser for
the past eight years.
Prior to that, he was with AJ Hackett Bungy in Queenstown for six
years, responsible for the day-to-day operations for the New Zealand
attraction.
Originally from the UK, Peak holds an Honours degree in Communication Studies and Management from the University of Leeds.
