Auckland Convention Bureau (ACB), a specialist unit of Auckland Unlimited, has announced Kenneth Pereira its new manager.
Pereira joined ACB nine months earlier as Business Events Manager –
Australia and Membership, and was most recently Event Development
Manager in the Major Events team at Auckland Unlimited until this recent
appointment.
Before joining Auckland Unlimited, Pereira headed the international
sales team for the New Zealand International Convention Centre,
including collaborating with Tourism NZ and ACB to bid for international
events.
He replaces former head of major and business events Richard Clarke,
who is now Auckland Unlimited’s Director of Arts, Entertainment and
Events.
