AIME appoints new event director

Industry heavyweight Silke Calder will lead the show's first hybrid edition in March.

Silke Calder joins Talk2 Media & Events as the new event director for AIME 2021 ( (Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event).

She will lead the event's first hybrid edition, which will welcome physical attendees to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 15-17 March, while virtual attendees will have access to an online event platform from 15-26 March.

With more than 20 years of experience across creative agencies, international trade conventions and venues, Calder joins the team from Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH, one of the world’s largest trade fairs and venues, where she served as head of sales – guest events.

Talk2 Media & Events CEO Matt Pearce said the appointment of a strong leader like Calder “means we are strengthening our mission to grow business for those attending the event – both physically and virtually.
