A new leadership for CWT's global customer team

Nick Vournakis joins as EVP and chief customer officer for the B2B travel management platform.

Nick Vournakis has been appointed EVP and Chief Customer Officer for B2B travel management platform, CWT.

Heading up the global customer team, he will manage CWT's business travel and meetings & events customers, servicing travellers with "greater client efficiencies, value offerings and personalisation this year and beyond".

This includes the recent announcement of its US$100 million investment in the myCWT travel management platform, which will roll out new capabilities to the market within the next six months.

These include adding more purposeful travel programmes such as carbon footprint indicators, platform connectivity enhancements, and broader travel choice and trip options.

Vournakis joins a larger core team of the customer and travel experience leadership team, which includes Ian Cummings, Global Head of CWT Meetings & Events since September 2021.
