Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts, one of Japan’s largest hotel chains, took the opportunity to showcase its wide-ranging MICE capabilities and authentic Japanese experiences during The Meetings Show Asia Pacific 2025.

Operating 57 properties across Japan and 26 internationally, the brand is known for hosting events of all sizes – from intimate corporate retreats to large-scale conferences of up to 3,000 attendees.

The group’s strength lies in its ability to offer authentic experiences rooted in Japanese culture. “We offer fascinating and unique experiences, such as private parties held in Japanese-style rooms with views of Tokyo Tower, snow monkey tours at a snow resort famous for its hot springs, and catering at a historic temple in Kyoto. As a Japan-originated hotel group, we offer variety of experiences with strong local connections. “

Exciting openings and transformations

Among the group’s latest developments is a highly anticipated new hotel set to open in Momochihama, Fukuoka, in spring 2026. Located along the western seaside of the city – near iconic landmarks like PayPay Dome and Fukuoka Towe – the property will offer 229 ocean-view rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a top-floor club lounge, fitness centre, and a 250 sqm multipurpose hall. The location offers easy access from Fukuoka Airport and Tenjin.

Meanwhile, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, one of the group’s properties in Hawaii, is undergoing a US$200 million renovation. This iconic Big Island property, known for its legacy of Hawaiian hospitality, will relaunch later this year with refreshed spaces and elevated guest experiences.
