Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa has launched the new Green Meeting Package.

The Green Meeting Package is priced at S$125 (US$92) per person (half day), and S$150 per person (full day). Morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunch (buffet/luncheon), and island admission for all guests are included in the full-day deal. The prices are subject to 10% service charge and 8% GST.

The venue is a Green Mark certified building, with LED lights and water efficient fittings. From design features and amenities in the guestrooms and meeting venues to locally sourced produce and resort-grown ingredients, the Green Meeting Package offers sustainable features.

Natural light in ballrooms

The Straits Ballroom and Saffron Ballroom at the Celebrations and Events Centre, and most of the meeting rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that allow plenty of natural light to fill the space. Meeting participants are offered drinking water in Tetra Pak packaging. The pens on the tables are made of recycled paper and wheat straw.‌

Menus that include locally farmed produce

In March 2023, the Resort was awarded the highest tier of Singapore Food Agency’s Farm-To-Table Recognition (the venue has sourced at least 15% of local produce across three or more food categories). Besides gaining fresher and high-quality ingredients, resort chefs create menus that highlight local flavours.

Unique menus

There are three coffee break menus, made with ingredients sourced from local farms as well as produce grown on the resort - Portuguese egg tart made with locally farmed eggs, chia seed pudding with locally farmed mint, and vegetable wrap with sweet chilli and local basil.

The resort also offers Impossible Meat. The plant-based patty is used in a slider and topped with locally farmed lettuce. For vegetarians, an OnlyEg Themed Menu offers 100% plant-based food and uses less resources than egg farming.

Other food selections include a buffet lunch at Kwee Zeen, the resort's all-day dining restaurant.

Cocktail teambuilding

A mixology workshop at LeBar teaches delegates how to make the Sentosa Sling, using lemon leaves harvested from the resort's lemon garden. Sustainable cocktails at LeBar include The Urban Decay and Carbon Eclipse. These two cocktails are made using ecoSPIRITS, a closed-loop distribution system that reduces packing waste in the premium spirits supply chain.
