The public area of Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, which is expected to open doors in 2022.
Vietnam's island destination of Phu Quoc has seen the swift arrival of international hotel brands over the past few years, with Hyatt the latest to add a new resort and residences that are expected to complete in 2022.
A Hyatt affiliate will be developing the 110-key Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, as well as 65 residences in partnership with an affiliate of BIM Group.
The hotel and residences will be situated on the southwestern tip of Phu Quoc, stretching across 160 acres of land, including a mile-long stretch of beach and views of lush hills. It will feature interiors inspired by traditional villages; all guestrooms, suites and villas will offer sea views.
Resort facilities will include two dining outlets, a bar, a pool side barbecue, two swimming pools, a lakeside spa, a gym house with a lap pool, a Camp Hyatt kids' village, and an organic farm.
For meetings and events, the resort offers more 400sqm of event space.

Spread across half the island is the national park and UNESCO World Heritage-designated Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve, one of the largest biosphere reserves in Southeast Asia. The reserve covers an extensive area of tropical rain forests, coral reefs and wetlands and is home to hundreds of species of plants and wild animals
"Located in one of the most exclusive locations in the country, the ultra-luxury resort and beachfront villas will provide guests with an exclusive sanctuary surrounded by breathtaking nature," said Le Minh Dung, vice general director, BIM Group.
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will be a 30-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, with direct access via the main north-south highway, and 40 minutes from Duong Dong, the island's main town.
