New initiative focuses on enhanced safety and remote tools for event professionals.

Hyatt Hotels has launched Together by Hyatt across its hotels in Asia Pacific, a programme featuring enhanced hygiene protocols and remote event planning capabilities, coinciding with the increased numbers of events now that pandemic restrictions have eased across many markets.

The launch follows a successful pilot programme carried out at 10 hotels in Asia Pacific, in destinations such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai and Beijing.

Feedback via surveys and stakeholder interviews highlighted that event professionals have added confidence when there are enhanced hygiene protocols and remote tools in place if needed.

Together by Hyatt advances care for planners by simplifying and streamlining event planning and execution, with attendee safety and wellbeing the top priorities.

Carina Chorengel, senior vice president of commercial, Asia Pacific at Hyatt Hotels Corporation said: “After almost three years of disruption, event planners recognise the need to meet expectations of safety, technology and well-being more than ever. Together by Hyatt is designed to inspire planners to envision and deliver small- and large-scale events with the ideas and tools necessary to reach their attendees in safe, creative and impactful ways.”

The programme includes four areas.

Care +Safety focuses on enhanced rigorous cleanliness and safety protocols, from socially distant room setups to signage for attendees, to care stations with personal protective equipment, and also ensures there is a dedicated Hygiene & Wellbeing leader at the hotel.

Care + Technology focuses on an end-to-end virtual and hybrid events platform in partnership with Swapcard and other key providers at participating Hyatt hotels.

Care + A Community of Experts offers planners the opportunity to tap into new resources and dedicated event expertise, such as hybrid event experts, training and guides.

Care + Wellbeing is a new series of guided experiences featuring wellbeing experts at selected locations across Asia Pacific, focusing on mindfulness, wellbeing such as guided stretching exercises and enhanced food and beverage options.
