The 830-room Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku is undergoing a phased renovation of its event spaces to meet growing demand. This multimillion-dollar upgrade will add 200sqm of meeting space to its existing 1,000sqm on the third floor, featuring modern, flexible, and AV tech-enabled rooms.

The renovation will introduce four meeting rooms, five function rooms, a pre-function space, three breakout areas, and a lecture hall, a unique asset in Tokyo's event scene. Designed for flexibility and convenience, the rooms will support various layouts including classroom, theatre, and banquet configurations, with adaptable spaces that can be connected or split as needed.

Partnering with Vega Project K.K, Hilton Tokyo will equip the new spaces with the latest LED screens and digital audio technology systems. The hotel already boasts Japan’s largest hotel ballroom LED screen, measuring W15.1m x H3.04m, offering an unparalleled AV experience.

Upon the renovation’s completion in mid-October, Hilton Tokyo will refresh its fourth-floor spaces and ballroom mid next year, as part of its plans to appeal to large groups for business, social and incentive events.

In addition to structural upgrades, the hotel has launched outside event catering, capable of serving up to 3,500 participants. Hilton Tokyo is also expanding its multilingual team and offering carbon offset programmes to help event organisers meet ESG mandates.
