Hilton Tokyo has new tech facilities designed to support in-person, hybrid, and online business events in collaboration with technology consultant and solutions provider Vega Global.

One of the main key features is a curved, super high-definition LED wall stretching 15.1m wide and 3.04m high in the Kiku Ballroom, the largest single screen in any hotel in the country. Accompanying facilities comprise a complete virtual production studio furnished with the highest-grade equipment.

Both are fully supported by on site experts from Vega Global’ s Japan office who can provide services such as pre- and post-production, carried out while event organisers are either in Japan or located abroad.

Organisers can also use the installations in a standalone capacity or in addition to other meeting spaces in Hilton Tokyo, for livestreaming and broadcasting, creating pre-recorded video, and attending meetings remotely.

The studio utilises the latest game engine software and cinema-grade hardware, combined with virtual reality, extended reality, and spatial audio capabilities. This content can be streamed straight from the studio to the LED screen, allowing for meetings that require breakout spaces such as panel discussions and workshops.

“The new LED wall allows clients to easily create high impact presentations and, together with the virtual studio, we can offer competitively priced solutions for all levels of events, be they in person, hybrid, or fully online,” said Leo Frankel, commercial director of Hilton Tokyo.
