The Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur will finally open its doors in late 2026, bringing online 3,745sqm of event space.
Marking the brand’s debut in Malaysia, the hotel will rise within the Bukit Bintang commercial and lifestyle district, placing delegates within minutes of landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel’s largest event space is the 1,545sqm grand ballroom, capable of hosting 1,100 guests for banquets or 2,100 delegates in a theatre setting, and divisible into three sections.
The 640sqm junior ballroom accommodates 450 banquet guests or 850 theatre-style, and can be split into two equal spaces.
Meanwhile, the 810sqm Pavilion has capacity for 550 banquet guests or 1,100 theatre-style, while The Lawn, a 270sqm outdoor venue, introduces an open-air option for 200 banquet guests or 400 in a reception setup.
For meetings, the Executive Hub brings together five boardrooms, conference rooms and project spaces ranging from 25sqm to 100sqm in a private space that blends leisure with rejuvenation.
A bar greets delegates at the entrance of the Executive Hub, while the private meeting rooms wrap around a spacious lounge.
The property features 279 suites, each starting from a generous 76sqm, alongside multiple dining venues, a wellness centre and outdoor pool.
