Hilton expands its luxury footprint in Malaysia with the opening its
first Waldorf Astoria in the country's capital in 2024.
Developed
and owned by Tradewinds Corporation Berhad, Waldorf Astoria Kuala
Lumpur will begin construction and renovation by the third quarter of
this year.
The hotel will feature 279 suites, with sizes starting from 76 square
metres. Meeting spaces comprise a total of 3,390 sqm, which will
include a 1,845 sqm-ballroom. Five F&B outlets will be available,
including the Waldorf Astoria brand's signature lounge and bar Peacock
Alley, as well as a wellness centre.
The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) will be within walking
distance of the hotel, as will top leisure attractions in the city's
Golden Triangle, such as Pavilion Mall and Suria KLCC in the Bukit
Bintang shopping and entertainment district. Access will be convenient
with the KL Sentral station and Kuala Lumpur International Airport being
10 minutes and an hour’s drive, respectively.
