From 1 May 2025, all foreign visitors to Thailand will be required to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before entering the country, according to a statement from Thai authorities.
The TDAC will replace the previously used TM.6 paper form, which has been suspended since last year. Travellers must complete the digital form at least three days prior to their departure via the official TDAC website here. A mobile app version is expected to be released soon for Android and iOS users.
Visitors will need to provide personal details, passport information, travel plans, accommodation and health status. After submission, they will receive a confirmation email, which must be presented together with travel documents upon arrival in Thailand.
“TDAC is not a visa but a digital entry form aimed at improving convenience and compliance with international standards. It applies to all entry routes – land, sea, and air,” said Deputy Government Spokesman Anukool Pruksanusak.
The online instructions are currently available in five languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Japanese. Thai immigration is also coordinating with other agencies, such as the E-Visa system, public health screening and tourism fee platforms, to streamline the arrival process.
