Higher education providers will be connecting with international education agents from across the globe at the 15th annual ICEF Australia and New Zealand conference come 2023 in Perth, Western Australia.

Around 300 delegates are expected for the two-day networking and trade conference attended by the top international student recruitment agents, directly generating a little under a million dollars for the Western Australian economy.

Business Events Perth partnered with key stakeholders such as Study Perth and Australia's Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and obtained support from over 16 national education and student affairs organisations and 26 Western Australia education providers, to secure the bid.

Business Events Perth CEO Gareth Martin said the win is a step in the right direction for the recovery of the business event industry and also an important strategic sector for Western Australia.

“Not only will this trade conference support the business event industry in Perth, it will also help to diversify the State’s economy through the ongoing benefits of hosting quality student recruitment agencies from around the world attracting future students to Western Australia.”
