The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and Malaysian
Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers
(MACEOS) have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
Held in Putrajaya, the signing ceremony signifies a major milestone
for the 9th edition of Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW), with both
organisations pledging to deliver a more impactful, comprehensive MBEW
2024.
“This year’s MBEW is particularly significant for MyCEB,” said Azman
Haji Tambi Chik, CEO of MyCEB. “In the past, we facilitated the BE
Xchange, allowing buyers and sellers to connect and conduct business.
Recognising the need for a more integrated approach, we are thrilled to
partner with our esteemed industry colleagues and have MACEOS lead this
crucial segment.”
MyCEB has currently secured 49 hosted buyers for MBEW 2024, while
MACEOS has shared an 81% take up of its 99 booths at the expo. Scheduled
from 19 to 21 August at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, MBEW 2024
will feature the highly anticipated EVENTXPO 2024, with the theme of
“Everything, Everywhere, Events!”
EVENTXPO 2024 will feature interactive workshops, insightful talks by
industry experts, and a careers fair for students and professionals
exploring opportunities within the industry. The event will also host
the MACEOS National Youth Challenge, encouraging young talents to
present their innovative business event ideas.
